Fred Eichler is the owner of Fulldraw Outfitters in Colorado, where he guides 10 months of the year for antelope, elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, bear, mountain lion and turkey. When he is not hunting or guiding hunters he splits his time between wildlife photography, freelance writing and trapping. On August 10th, 2009 Fred harvested a Tule Elk to be the first person to complete the North American Superslam of all 29 species recognized by the Pope and Young Club with a recurve bow. He has also numerous African animals to his credit with a recurve bow. A prominent outdoor writer, Fred also wrote, "Bowhunting Western Big Game" and has been a contributor on many other outdoor related books. His articles and photos have appeared in Bowhunter, Bowhunting World, North American Hunter and Traditional Bowhunter magazines.
